Manifesting its influence from Chicago, the birth place of John Wayne Gacy, the Atomic Bomb and Walt Disney, Macabre's unpredictable murder metal is still going strong 10+ years after their debut "Grim Reality" release. Intense drumming, thick horrific chording and serial killer nursery rhymes at breakneck speeds are Macabre trademarks. They are considered by many to be the fastest band in the world. 1985: Macabre were born: Nefarious, Corporate Death & Dennis the Menace
1987: Grim Reality LP released
1988: Shit List Demo
1989: Gloom
1990: Grim Reality/Gloom split CD released
1992: Nightstalker 7"
1993: Sinister Slaughter
1994: Macabre toured throughout the world on a 26 country killing spree
1995: Behind the Wall of Sleep ep released
1996: Macabre introduces the world to "Death Metal unplugged"
1997: Macabre worked on more material for their next epic the life story of Jeffery Dahmer & played live on their Canadian Invasion '97 tour
1998: Gloom CD re-issued and now available thru Mindmelt (www.mindmelt.com) Macabre played more live shows including the Holidays of Horror show in Chicago on December 26th
1999: Macabre play live shows through the US
