In other Macabre news, the DAHMER album was recorded at Village Studios in Texas with Neil Kernon.

"Holiday of Horror Show"

to everyone who showed up for the Holiday Of Horror show
at the Fireside on 12/26 in Chicago.
There was a great turnout and the opening acts; The Chasm, Lord
Blasphemer and
Kung Fu Rick were all cool too.
Except for the asshole who kicked in the ceiling during "Ed
Gein" and the
nazi skinheads that had to be thrown out for starting fights, the
show was
a big success.
Fans who got there early quickly bought up the $10 Holiday Of
Horror green on
black t-shirt that had the show flyer on the front and murder
metal logo on the
back.
This design was limited to 24 shirts and will not be re-printed.
The Fireside doesn't normally have metal shows, but it's a really
cool
all ages club. The promoter now has to pay for a new ceiling and
may
not do more metal shows in the future.
Macabre invited people to videotape the performance and there
were quite a few
cameras on hand capturing the event.
If you happened to tape the show or take photos, be cool and send
copies
to the band at their po box listed below.
Macabre played a new mixture of old and new tunes, including
songs that they
have not played since '90 and a brand new song from
"Dahmer" that has never
been played out live before.
The setlist included "Dog Guts", "Vampire
Of...", "Holiday Of Horrors",
"Nightstalker", "Fritz Haarman",
"Zodiac", "How "bout Some Coffee",
"Unabomber", Serial Killer",
"McMassacre", and many more.
